Our roots

Businesses brought us problems worth solving. Stackweaver was created.

They understood the problem. We knew how to build the solution. So we created a way to bring both sides together.

For years, Eben built software for whatever problem landed in front of him.

A client needed a website. Another needed a plugin. Someone else had a process that was taking too long and wanted a better way to do it.

A pattern began to emerge.

Clients needed software that was genuinely useful, but could not justify carrying the full cost of building it alone. So Eben began trying something different. The client contributed part of the development cost. He built the product, retained the ability to license it to others facing the same problem and recovered the rest over time.

The client got the software they needed for less.

Other businesses gained access to a useful product without starting from scratch.

One business problem became the starting point for something that could serve many.

That idea stayed with him.

Twelve years of software engineering, hundreds of projects and dozens of products and plugins, became the foundation for Stackweaver.

Based in NI, our name reflects the way we work.

Weaving brings separate threads together to create something useful, strong and lasting. Stackweaver brings together business experience, careful engineering, shared ambition and a simple conviction.

The people closest to a problem often understand it best.

Through Product Partnerships, businesses bring that understanding. We brings the technical expertise, product experience and financial investment needed to turn the right problems into software that can go further than one organisation.

We listen. When a problem is clear, recurring and worth solving, both sides have something valuable to bring to the table.

The Founders’ Circle carries that partnership into the future.

The program brings together the businesses that choose to support Stackweaver early to grow alongside us. In return, members receive lasting access to Stackweaver products, a closer relationship with the company and a meaningful voice in what we build next.

It is not simply about access to software.

It is about recognising early belief, building trust over time and creating a relationship where the value grows on both sides.

Paycilo is our first active product and the beginning of that journey. It reflects how we intend to build everything that follows. Close to the problem. Shaped through collaboration. Designed to protect the time, margins and independence of the businesses using it.

We are still early.

But the thinking behind Stackweaver has been years in the making.

Find problems worth solving.

Work with the people who understand them.

Build the product properly.

Then keep making it better.
